INFOMATIX Driver Monitoring System
The Driver Condition Monitor (DSM) monitors the actions and well-being of the driver of the vehicle. The core of the system is based on machine vision technology and allows you to detect the abnormal state of the driver of the vehicle. DSM detects and informs you about fatigue, distraction, smoking and phone calls while driving.

The main element of the fatigue detection system is the driver-facing infra-red camera. This special camera is mounted in a specific point on the dash that gives it a full view of the driver's face and head, but does not impede their view of the road.

The Infrared camera creates a high-contrast image that is sent to the main to process in real-time. The camera has a very narrow view that focuses solely on the driver's face, with a little margin that allows for their head movement. This minimises intrusion into their workspace.
Driver Monitoring System Features
  • Drowsiness
Provides alarms when the driver's eyes are closed.
  • Yawning
Detects when the driver yawns. Provides alarms when the yawning continues.
  • Smoking
    Detects when the driver smokes.
  • Phone use
Provides alarms when the driver uses mobile phone while driving.
  • Distracted
Provides alarms when the driver looks away.
  • Recording
    Supports 3 different recording modes.
  • Driver ID detection
Stores ID and identifies which driver is on board.
  • Live video streaming
Transmit the live video through Ethernet port
The seat belt monitoring sensor allows you to:
  • Signal an unfastened seat belt (light or sound).
  • Monitor the status of seat belts in the fleet of vehicles via the Glonass system.
  • Control the belt by the vehicle's safety system to deploy or not deploy the airbags.
The sensor will avoid situations in which the driver is not fastened. It will improve safety for drivers and avoid fines from the traffic police. Also, the status of the belt, for example, can be tied to the start of the vehicle.

The keyless access system allows you to open and lock the doors of the vehicle without using a key. Keyless entry is achieved by transmitting a radio frequency signal from a remote transmitter to a control module/receiver in transport. This radio frequency (RF) signal is sent as an encrypted data stream directly to the vehicle. Within a few meters of the bus, the driver can lock or unlock the doors, open the doors and start the engine.
Keyless driver access
The service evaluates the quality of driving, allows you to compile reports for each driver and for the fleet of vehicles.
Driving quality is assessed according to the following parameters:
  • compliance with the speed limit
  • dangerous maneuvering
  • hard braking/acceleration
The user of the service will be able to estimate how many times during the allotted time the driver made dangerous maneuvers, sudden braking or acceleration, exceeded the speed limit. When viewing violations in detail, the user of the service will see on the map where and when the violation was committed. The service provides crash reports and automatic recording of motion and collision parameters.

A breathalyzer or a ignition interlock device is a device that does not allow starting a car engine without first passing an alcohol test on the driver's condition. Before starting the engine, the driver must pass a standard alcohol test: exhale air from his lungs into a breathalyzer. If the concentration of ethyl alcohol vapor in the exhaled air is above the norm, the engine will not start. Also, the alcolock at irregular intervals requires a second check by the driver while driving.
